On October 9, 2022, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics Istanbul (TJOD Istanbul) convened a Sunday meeting on the topic of “Current Approach to Oocyte Freezing for Medical and Social Reasons.” “Medical Fertility Preservation” was brought up in the second session, and the founding president of the society Prof. Engin Oral MD presented the “Evaluation of Patients Planned for Gonadal Surgery” in this session. Prof. Engin Oral MD has participated in the panel discussion on “Case Presentations” that was held following the sessions. Our executive board member Associate Prof. Hale Göksever Çelik, MD who was also the organizing committee manager, chaired the first session on “Social Fertility Preservation” and also the second session on “Medical Fertility Preservation”.
